An intimate gathering shaped by time, place, and memory

In May this year, I had the immense pleasure of sharing A journey through unspoken words for the first time during an intimate gathering and exhibition created by hand in a space carrying its own history and soul.

It was one of those evenings that felt deeply personal and meaningful, not only because I could finally place this completed artist book into the hands of others, but because I could also share the stories that have lived within me for so long and, in many ways, shaped the person I am today.

A journey through unspoken words is an artist book exploring memory, place, inner transformation, and ways we come to understand ourselves more deeply. Created through photographs, typewritten words, poems, and collages gathered over time in a small Italian town and a house called Il Vecchio Frantoio, the project became a reflection of a deeply personal period of change. Surrounded by beauty, stillness, and the kindness of its people, I found space to slow down, listen inwardly, and reconnect with the importance of creating in my life.

Many of the emotions carried within these pages were difficult to express aloud, yet found their voice through images and writing. The book became a way of holding experiences, memories, and inner shifts that shaped who I was becoming.

At its heart, this work rests in that delicate space between belonging and becoming, where a place holds you long enough for you to hear yourself again.

I am grateful for everyone who came, listened, shared reflections, and helped make the evening feel so warm, open, and alive. After many months of creating, printing, binding, doubting, refining, and beginning again, it meant more than I can fully put into words to experience the book living in a space among people.
